LINDSAY KNEZ, M.A., CCC-SLP, BCBA – FOUNDER
Lindsay iS the co-founder of K1ds Count, LLC. Lindsay realized her purpose and career path while working at a group home for children with autism. She spent 4 years working at the group home while studying speech pathology at Indiana University. The children’s struggles with speech and language often led to severe behavioral problems and prompted Lindsay to attend graduate school at IU to learn more about speech and language disorders and treatment. She graduated from Indiana University with a B.A. in speech and hearing sciences and psychology in 2005, and she received a master’s degree from IU in speech language pathology in 2007. Lindsay then spent 2 years studying autism and applied behavior analysis at Ball State and has been a board certified behavior analyst (BCBA) since May 2012. She has experience working with many children with autism and a variety of other diagnoses as a speech therapist and BCBA in a variety of settings, including a residential school, public and charter schools, outpatient clinics, First Steps, and ABA centers. Through K1ds Count, it is Lindsay’s goal to combine the best of each therapy discipline to holistically serve each child with autism individually.
FRANK KNEZ, FOUNDER
Frank is the co-founder of K1ds Count, LLC. He attended Wabash College and earned his bachelor’s degree and later achieved his MBA through Indiana Wesleyan. Frank spent approximately 3 years in supply chain management at PepsiCo, and for the last 10 years, he has been able to apply this experience to the development and management of therapy services. Frank supports K1ds Count’s operations, business development, billing, professional development, and HR needs. He enjoys interacting with families, children, and therapists daily. Frank looks forward to helping K1ds Count continue to provide comprehensive services, quality employment experiences, and positively impact the communities we serve.
KIM CHAPMAN, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Kim is the Executive Director of K1ds Count. Kim attended Indiana State University and acheived her degree in early childhood education. She has many years of experience serving children as a teacher, First Steps therapist, ABA therapist, billing specialist, and director of a preschool. Kim diligently oversees all daily operations for the children and staff at K1ds Count.
AMY PICKETT, DIRECTOR PARTNER AND ABA SUPPORTS
Amy is a licensed teacher and received her master’s in ABA therapy from Ball State. She completed her student teaching on a reservation and has worked with children with autism at a residential school as well as in several clinic based settings. Amy’s strengths include creating individualized behavior intervention plans, collaborating with other disciplines, and communicating and teaching therapists and families about behavioral strategies. Amy oversees all behavioral service programs at K1ds Count, including clinic, home, community, and school based services. She also helps to lead parent and community training as well as supervision of our student clinicians. In addition, recently, Amy has had the opportunity to integrate ABA into 6 charter schools in the Indianapolis area.
ALLIE KRUMB, DIRECTOR OF EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT AND PERFORMANCE
Allie graduated from IUPUI in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in Special Education and a minor in Psychology. Allie has worked with people with disabilities for 10 years and truly enjoys impacting people’s lives. Allie first started in the field by being a Transitional Living Consultant, helping adults with disabilities transition to independent living. Through this experience, Allie learned about ABA and soon transitioned to a local ABA center. Prior to joining K1ds Count, Allie had four years of experience as an ABA therapist and team leader. Allie has worked in a variety of settings including schools, center, and homes. Her clinical interests include assessment and treatments of challenging behaviors, functional communication, and sibling interactions. Allie is nearing completion of her Masters in Special Education with an emphasis on ABA, and looks forward to continuing her role of General Manager for kids, families, and therapists here at K1ds Count.
ALEXA HENRY, DIRECTOR OF ABA TRAINING AND SUPERVISION
Alexa is a native of South Bend, IN. The oldest of three siblings, she naturally gravitated toward caring for her younger brother and sister. This lead to babysitting and nanny positions throughout high school and college. She received her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Purdue University in May 2013. Alexa learned about ABA the summer after she graduated from Purdue and began her career in ABA as a therapist, working her way up to clinical coordinator within her first two years. Alexa became a BCaBA in February 2016 while enrolled in graduate school. She received her master’s degree in ABA and Autism from Ball State University in May 2016 and soon after became a credentialed BCBA. She has worked with a variety of clients from the ages of 2-14 in both school and clinic settings. Alexa’s clinical interests include AAC devices and language acquisition and social skills development
LEXY SANTERRE, DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS ABA SERVICES
Lexy grew up in Indianapolis and graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Recreational Therapy. She spent time working with adults and adolescents in inpatient psych after graduation. After spending time working at a retirement community as a Recreational Therapist, she decided to switch paths that would allow her to work with children. Lexy began working as an ABA therapist and then completed master’s degree in ABA at Ball State. Lexy is now a BCBA, and she looks forward to continuing to help children and families. Outside of K1ds Count, he enjoys cooking/baking, spending time with family and friends!
TAYLOR HELTON, DIRECTOR OF OUTPATIENT SERVICES
Taylor grew up in Mooresville, Indiana. She achieved her undergraduate degree in speech and hearing sciences from Purdue University and then received her graduate degree in speech and language pathology from Abilene Christian University. Taylor loves reading, boating, and playing with her puppy. Taylor loves working with children in both the clinic and school settings at K1ds Count!
DANIELLE WINKLER, DIRECTOR OF SCHOOL SERVICES
Born and raised on the south side of Indianapolis, Danielle attended the University of Indianapolis to complete her bachelor’s degree in psychology and went on to pursue her Master of Occupational Therapy. She believes in the holistic approach of therapy, integrating the unique physical, emotional, and psychosocial components of the child while embracing their abilities. A child’s potential extends beyond the boundaries of a diagnosis and she strives to break the environmental barriers to maximize their success and growth by incorporating family values into therapeutic intervention. Her background includes program development and curriculum design of community based outreach programs for at-risk populations, designed to promote character growth and skill building. She has worked in community, outpatient, and home-based settings with children and young adults of many backgrounds and circumstances. Her clinical interests include implementation of visual and sensory supports to reduce behavior and improve overall participation in activities of daily living while fostering a sense of independence for the kids we serve. She is most excited about the opportunity to collaborate with other passionate team members!
HILLARY OTT, OT/PT DEPARTMENT MANAGER
Hillary grew up in Franklin Township on the southeast side of Indianapolis. She attended school at the University of Southern Indiana where she earned her Master’s of Science degree in occupational therapy. She has provided OT services at K1ds Count since October 2016, and has enjoyed being a part of the company’s growth and enhanced ability to serve the Brownsburg community. She has experience working with newborns through teens diagnosed with sensory processing disorder, feeding difficulties, autism spectrum disorder, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, ADHS, William’s syndrome, various psychiatric diagnoses (ODD, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, PTSD, reactive-attachment disorder, body-focused repetitive behaviors), and learning disabilities (dyslexia, dysgraphia, cognitive delay). Hillary places great importance on the utilization of sensory integration techniques to enhance a child”s ability to successfully participate in his environment. She loves collaborating with families, colleagues, and other K1ds Count professionals in order to facilitate the greatest progress for each child’s journey.
ALYSSA HAY, ST DEPARTMENT MANAGER
Alyssa grew up in Danville, Indiana. She studied speech language pathology at Ball State University where she received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees. Alyssa has developed a passion for working with children on the autism spectrum and would someday like to become a BCBA. Personally, Alyssa loves reading, yoga, and traveling.
MORGAN WILLHITE, LEAD RBT
Morgan is from Hillsdale, Indiana. She graduated from the University of Indianapolis with a bachelor’s degree in Pre-Art Therapy. Her career goals are to help children with disabilities. She would eventually like to teach ceramic classes with children who have disabilities. Morgan’s hobbies are going to concerts, attending sports events, making pottery and spending time with her loved ones.
TANIKKA SPARKS, CLINIC COORDINATOR
Tanikka grew up in Ladoga, Indiana. She studied music education at the University of Indianapolis. She really enjoys the challenge of ABA therapy and loves the kids and her team. Her career goal is to go back to school to someday become a BCBA. Outside of work, she enjoys piano and teaching aerobics.
LAUREN CARVER, LEAD RBT
Lauren was raised in Rochester Hills, Michigan; She recently relocated to Crawfordsville, Indiana. Her experience working with kids began with watching the neighborhood kids. She has known from a very early age that she wanted to work with kids. Prior to K1ds Count, she had one year of ABA experience. Lauren attended Baker College in Michigan for Early Childhood Education and looks forward to continuing her education in Indiana. Her favorite part about working with the kids is watching them grow and develop new skills. Lauren is determined to become an RBT and is excited to grow with K1ds Count!
CARIN MESSICK, LEAD RBT
Carin has been with K1ds Count since May of 2016. She previously worked as a paraprofessional in an Emotional Disability classroom. She grew up in Darlington and participated in 4-H for 10 years. She has always had a passion for working with kids. She is currently a mom to two dogs and loves them to pieces. Some is very excited to spend many more years at K1ds Count and considers her coworkers family.
KAYLA RIDER, MA, BCBA, MANAGER OF PRESCHOOL AND EARLY LEARNING
Kayla grew up in the small town of Elwood, IN. After high school, she went to the University of Indianapolis for Athletic Training, but ended up switching her major to psychology when she learned about ABA and Autism. She had one class in undergrad that really opened up her eyes to the field of ABA. After that class, she knew this was the field for her! She had always loved working with individuals with special needs and volunteered at a special needs camp in high school. After graduation, she went to work as an ABA therapist in a center for 3 years before joining the team here at K1ds Count. After working in that center for 2 years, she decided to go back to get her masters in ABA. She attended Ball State University (online) and recently received her master’s degree in ABA with a concentration in Autism. She will soon become a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
BRIGHID ZAJAC, M.S., BCBA, MANAGER INTERMEDIATE AND VOCATIONAL PROGRAMS
Brighid is from Omaha Nebraska. She attended the University of Kansas and received a B.S. in Applied Behavior Analysis. She later attended Kaplan University and studied psychology with a specialty in ABA and then became a BCBA. She enjoys hiking, going to concerts, attending plays and musicals, and spending time with her dogs. Brighid has worked with clients diagnosed with autism, 6-10 years of age with more severe behavioral challenges. She spent 1 year as a Regional Director at her previous center and is excited to develop as a leader here at K1ds Count.
CHELSEA SMITH, CLINIC COORDINATOR
Chelsea grew up in Avon, IN. She studied psychology at IUPUI. Chelsea’s career goal is to continue to learn and grow as an RBT. Outside of work, Chelsea enjoys shopping, singing, and playing with her dog.
RANDA ANDREWS, CLINIC COORDINATOR
Randa grew up on the south side of Indianapolis, and graduated from the University of Southern Indiana in May 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Randa enjoys gaining experience serving children with autism, and is looking forward to grow within K1ds Count!
HANNAH SPRINKLE, LEAD RBT
Hannah grew up in Brownsburg and graduated from Ball State University with a degree in Psychology. While on Spring Break one semester at Ball State she passed by K1ds Count on her way home and decided to contact us for a potential internship/volunteer opportunity. Though she hadn’t had any experience in the ABA field at that point, she knew she wanted to work in the psychology field, and with kids, and she found ABA to be the best of both worlds. Hannah is now an RBT lead, and she looks forward to continuing to help children and families. In her free time she likes to spend time with her family, play with her dog Hazel, and have pizza movie nights with her boyfriend.
SHANNON CONNERS, MA, BCBA, BCBA CLINICAL MANAGER
Shannon grew up in small town in Northeast Indiana. She graduated from DeKalb High School in 1999 and went on to obtain her undergrad degree in psychology from the University of Indianapolis in 2003. While attending the U of I, she was introduced to the field of ABA by a professor that thought she might be a good fit. She began working with an 8 year old girl on the autism spectrum in her home and has not looked back since. Shannon has worked as an ABA therapist since 2001 in homes, clinics, schools, daycares and churches. She completed her masters in Applied Behavior Analysis with an emphasis in autism. She hopes to become a credentialed BCBA soon.
MORGAN HUNTER, MA, BCBA, BCBA CLINICAL MANAGER
Morgan began her career working with children with autism in a residential school on the crisis management team. She has 4 years of ABA clinic based experience and became of BCBA in 2017. Her professional goal is to go back to school to receive a PhD in Behavior Science. Outside of work, Morgan loves traveling, outdoors, animals, and sports.
KARA GOGOLEW, MA, BCBA, BCBA CLINICAL MANAGER
Kara lives in the Brownsburg area. She has 2 years of experience as an ABA therapist. She recently completed her master’s degree in ABA therapy with an emphasis in autism from Ball State. Outside of work, Kara is very involved with color guard. Kara loves making a different in the lives of children at K1ds Count and looks forward to soon being a BCBA.
SONIA HALL, BCaBA
Sonia received a bachelors’ degree in Human Services from Purdue University. She has been completing behavioral therapy for over 3 years. She enjoys spending time with her family and reading books. Sonia is currently pursuing her masters’ degree in ABA from Capella University. She hopes to finish in the next year and sit for her exam to become a BCBA.
SHANNON HENDERSON, BCBA
Shannon grew up in Trafalgar, IN. She received a B.S. in Psychology from IUPUC in 2015, and will be graduating in May 2018 with a master’s degree in ABA from Ball State University. Her career goal is to become a BCBA. Upon starting K1ds Count, she was new to the field of ABA and enjoyed making an impact in the lives of children. She knew she was in the right career from the start. She believes the absolute best part about ABA is seeing the kids make triumphs, big or little, and working with a team that celebrates those successes with you. Outside of K1ds Count, Shannon loves traveling, baking, making crafts, spending time with friends and family.
EMILY JOHNSTON, BCBA
Emily is originally from Missouri, but has spent most of her life in Indiana. She graduated high school in 2009 and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Ball State University in 2013. While Emily enjoyed teaching, she always felt something was missing. With being a special needs math tutor in high school as well as having multiple family members with disabilities, it gave her the idea to look into special education programs. During her second year teaching, Emily had a student with ASD, and her student’s parents credited his success on Applied Behavior Analysis. Emily researched ABA and decided to look for jobs within the field at the end of the school year and, as they say, the rest is history. Emily has been a Registered Behavior Technician since January 2016 and holds a master’s degree in ABA through Ball State a goal of becoming a BCBA. Emily loves working with the children on a personalized level and likes seeing the growth they make on a day-to-day basis. She believes the best part of ABA is seeing children acquire new skills that will help them with their daily lives and comparing their growth from their first days all the way to the present – it can be like night and day! Emily looks forward to continuing her career with K1ds Count!
HOPE WOLFE, BCBA
Hope grew up in a small town in Connecticut before attending George Washington University where she earned her Bachelor’s in Speech and Hearing Sciences. She then received her Master’s in education with concentrations in ABA and autism from Arcadia University. She has a family member on the Spectrum, and volunteered for an organization in high school where she was paired up with a buddy with autism. During summers, while in college, she worked at a sleep away camp for kids and young adults with special needs. She then became an ABA therapist right after college, and worked as an ABA therapist through grad school, until she became a BCBA in February 2014. She always knew she wanted to work in the autism field, and was introduced to ABA in college in a speech and hearing science course on autism. After wanting to explore her options before starting a graduate program, she found a job as an ABA therapist. Her career goal is to make a difference in the lives of the children and families she works with. She would also love to get involved in research at some point in her career. In her free time she enjoys chasing around her one year old, spending time outside, traveling, and doing pilates.
AMY ANGELL, BCBA CLINICAL MANAGER
Amy is Board Certified Behavior Analyst who received a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of South Florida. She also earned a Master of Arts degree in Criminal Justice and a Master of Education degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University. Amy is originally from Tampa, FL, and has over 10 years of experience working with children and families. She began her career working with children in the field of victim advocacy, but upon moving to Iowa in 2013, she met a BCBA and immediately knew it was the path she needed to take. She has five years of experience in the ABA field and has worked at ABA clinics in Florida and Iowa prior to moving to Indiana this year. In her spare time, she plays the violin and loves to travel, read, and spend time with her husband and her cat Willy. Amy is most motivated by seeing the progress her clients make and seeing the relationships families build with their loved ones when her client’s hard work begins to show.
ALEXIS JAMES, BCBA
Alexis grew up in Marion. She received a BA in psychology and an MA in ABA therapy. Alexis is excited to sit for her BCBA and learn and grow within the field. Alexis loves snowboarding, frisbee golf, being outside, and spending time with family. She has 2 kids and loves to be silly, hugs, and watching kids learn.
ERIN SHEETS, BCBA
Erin grew up in Carmel, Indiana, and graduated from Purdue University in 2010 with a degree in Special Education. After college, Erin worked for six years as a special education teacher, serving preschoolers and elementary school students with a variety of disabilities including autism, emotional disabilities, traumatic brain injuries, ADD/ADHD and learning disabilities. The majority of Erin’s teaching experience comes from developing programming for self-contained classrooms for students with high behavioral needs. Erin is now enrolled in the ABA master’s program at Ball State, and she is excited to have the opportunity to expand her knowledge and grow at Kids Count.
CORY MONTGOMERY, BCBA
Cory spilt her childhood between Ft. Lewis, WA and McCordsville, IN. She obtained a B.A. in Psychology from IUPUI and is currently enrolled in the ABA program at Ball State. She hopes to become a BCBA in the near future. When she is not devoting her time to work, she enjoys reading and collecting comic books.
APRIL HIGGASON, BCBA
April grew up in Chesterton, Indiana and currently resides in Brownsburg. She earned her Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University. During her undergraduate years, she was a nanny for 3 young “neurotypical” children. She then worked as a technician providing direct ABA therapy for a preschool aged boy in the private home setting. More recently her experience has included working with children ages 3 to 17 with various diagnoses, including ASD, ADHD, PDD, ODD, CP, and other intellectual, developmental, and mental health diagnoses. She has worked in the home, community, school, and clinic settings. She has also provided behavior management services funded through the State of Indiana. Ultimately, she would love to employ concepts of OBM within a setting that is motivating and gives her the opportunity to have meaningful interactions with people. She would be happy to do this within the clinic, school, or community settings. Prior to having children, and much less free time, she was a fan of sports fitness. She enjoys playing softball, attending baseball games (Chicago Cubs), baking and cooking, and spending quality time with her friends and family. Learning about, and teaching, her two young children and tackling every day life with her husband, who is also her best friend, is her favorite thing to do in her free time.
RUSANA RUSH, PROGRAMMING COORDINATOR
Rusana grew up in the small town of North Judson, and graduated in 2015 from Indiana Wesleyan University where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. She enjoyed being involved in an organization (Wildcat Academy) that helped high school kids with developmental disabilities transition into a college environment. After graduating college, she came across ABA and has seen nothing but positive impact on the kids and families’ lives. One of her favorite parts of the job is building relationships with the kids and their families. After working as an RBT for close to a year, she’s decided to pursue a Master’s Degree in ABA to become a BCBA. Ru looks forward to continue growing as a therapist and being a part of Kids Count.
HILARY BUDREAU, PROGRAMMING COORDINATOR
Hilary grew up in Greenfield, IN. She attended Indiana State where she received her B.S. in Psychology. Currently, she is working toward receiving her M.A. in Applied Behavior Analysis at Ball State and will then become a BCBA. When Hilary is not working or taking classes, she enjoys playing with her dogs, traveling and engaging in outdoor activities.
YASMEEN LEWIS, PROGRAMMING COORDINATOR
Yasmeen is from Richmond, Indiana. She studied at Indiana State University to receive her B.S. in speech and language pathology. She loves cooking and crafts. Yasmeen is currently in school pursuing her graduate degree in applied behavior analysis to become a BCBA. She is excited to help children learn, grow, and develop through ABA therapy.
JENNIFER SKOGH, PROGRAMMING ASSISTANT
Jennifer grew up in the Chicago suburb of Bolingbrook, Illinois. She attended University of Illinois and Capella University earning degrees in Kinesiology and Applied Behavior Analysis. She worked as an RBT for 3 years in the Chicago area, both in clinics and homes, before moving to Indiana. While in Illinois she also coached Special Olympics, was a preschool aide, and worked in adult special recreation programming. She was immediately drawn to K1ds Count because of the atmosphere. The second she walked in the door, she felt a sense of teamwork that she’d never seen or experienced before. Her career goal is to become a BCBA and stay at K1ds Count forever! She loves the clients we serve, K1ds Count’s mission and commitment to the community, and the teamwork of the staff. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her cat, gardening, and ballroom dancing. She is a member of West Indy Winds and play the french horn.
KATIE ROOKER, PROGRAMMING ASSISTANT
Katie grew up in Greencastle, Indiana. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Ball State University. She is currently enrolled in Ball State’s Master degree program for Applied Behavioral Analysis with an emphasis in Autism. Her career goal is to graduate with her Master’s degree and become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Katie is excited to be working with the children of K1ds Count while continuing her education in the field of Autism Services.
HANNAH BAUMER, PROGRAMMING ASSISTANT
Hannah is a RBT who grew up in Woodburn, IN. She obtained her Bachelors from Taylor University in Communication Studies with a Minor in Psychology. Her career goal is to enroll into the ABA program at Ball State and later become a BCBA. Hannah loves sports, shopping and hanging out with her friends.
CORI KEEN, PROGRAMMING ASSISTANT
Cori grew up in Northern Indiana but moved to Indianapolis to pursue a BA in Psychology at IUPUI. She became interested in ABA therapy when her nephew was diagnosed with Autism. While pursuing her degree, she volunteered at a children’s shelter and worked with adults and children who had developmental and physical disabilities. The more she worked, she realized that this was the career path she belonged in. She plans to attend graduate school and get her Master’s in ABA. She is very excited to continue to learn and grow at K1ds Count.
SAMANTHA GRIMMER, PROGRAMMING ASSISTANT
Samantha graduated from University of Wisconsin-La Crosse with a BS in Psychology and a focus on school age children. While in college she was the director of a preschool gymnastics team and had the opportunity to work with children with special needs. After college Samantha worked as an ABA therapist in clinics, homes, schools, and daycares for two years before moving to Indiana. She is excited to be RBT certified and grow within K1ds Count!
KATELYN KOZMA, PROGRAMMING ASSISTANT
Katelyn grew up in a very small town in Illinois, but moved to Indiana in middle school. It was a couple of years later, when she started babysitting her neighbor’s children, that she realized her passion for working with children. After one of her neighbor’s children was diagnosed with Autism, Katelyn researched the disorder and, having such a strong connection with the child, was moved to pursue Special Education. Katelyn graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Anderson University in May of 2016. She is excited to grow in her knowledge of ABA and in her passion for the work she is doing in her clients’ lives.
BRITTANY YORK, PROGRAMMING ASSISTANT
A native of central Indiana, Brittany grew up, and currently resides, just west of Brownsburg in Pittsboro. She attended IUPUI where she received her Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in ABA at Ball State University. Her experience working with children stretches back over 10 years. Whether working with daycares, nannying, with schools, or in clinics, she is passionate about children! Having worked in the mental health field, she began working with an increasing number of clients who had been diagnosed with Autism. She wanted to learn more about this population and ended up working within the field here at K1ds Count! One of her career goals is to become a BCBA. She is also interested in community outreach, training, and advocacy work within the field of ABA. In her free-time, Brittany loves spending time with her family and dogs. She also enjoys cooking, working on crafts, and hiking.
BRIANNA JONES, PROGRAMMING ASSISTANT
Brianna grew up in Clawson, Michigan and currently resides in Avon, Indiana. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s in Psychology in ABA from Purdue University Global. She was a former peer in an inclusion program her school offered, from 4th grade to her senior year of high school. During this program GE students worked closely with students in the districts ASD program on school work, job skills, and daily living skills. After graduation, she became a paraprofessional in the ASD program at both the middle school and high school of the district she had formerly attended. While working with the school district, she began to learn more about what ABA was and had to try it for herself. Her ultimate career goal would be to support the process of ABA therapy working within school systems. She comes from a large, blended family, with seven siblings, five brothers and two sisters. In her spare time she enjoys watching and playing sports, being with friends and family, laying around watching movies, and adventuring to new places.
TERRI RENEE WOODALL, PROGRAMMING ASSISTANT
After growing up in Hartford City, Indiana, Terri attended Purdue University where she earned a degree in Human Services. She currently resides in Carmel, and her career goal is to finish graduate school and become a BCBA. She enjoys sleeping, Netflix, reading, and video games. She once tried to annoy her friend with bird puns, but he showed her that toucan play that game!
JULIE VUJNOVICH, RBT
Julie was adopted from South Korea at five months old and was raised in Des Moines, Iowa. She attended Iowa State University, earning her Bachelor’s in Psychology, and currently resides on the Northwest side of Indianapolis. Her older brother is on the spectrum, which has helped shape her in to who she is today. A good friend, who she met at the first center she worked with, convinced her to come join the team at K1ds Count. In between ABA jobs, for about a year, she was a home health aide working with seniors but was missing the pure joy of working with kids. So she applied, and the rest is history! She is driven to help others and be in a role that changes lives. She hopes to return to graduate school to become a BCBA or mental health counselor. She loves makeup, and does everything from wedding makeup to special effects, all self-taught from YouTube. She enjoys doing face painting, cooking, drawing/painting, and spending time with friends, her boyfriend and their 2 cats, Indie and Hank, and their chocolate lab Max.
JENNA BURKHARD, RBT
Jenna graduated from Zionsville High School in 2015. She started working with kids at an Early Childhood Development School in Zionsville, where she was an assistant teacher. She currently is a sophomore in college where she has transferred from The University of Southern Indiana to attend IUPUI, where she plans on graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She started working for K1ds Count Therapy during the summer of 2016. It took one summer for her to change her career from Gerontology to Psychology, after learning about ABA therapy and experiencing working with children having autism. She has always loved working with kids and has a strong interest in learning about how the human brain functions. Once graduated from IUPUI with a degree in Psychology she hopes to return to K1ds Count.
ALLIE BOYD, RBT
Allie is 22 years old and a student at IU. She is a Mom to two children. She has previously been a nanny for 6 years to a boy with autism. She has been a volunteer at a handi-capable camp for 8 years, and has always spent time working in child care. She enjoys sewing and painting.
SANDI EARL, RBT
Sandi grew up in Harlan, KY. She has an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Ivy Tech. Her husband is ex navy, and they have 2 daughters, ages 13 and 4. She previously worked for Avon Community Schools in the Life Skills classroom. She enjoys photography and scrapbooking, and is RBT certified. She is very excited to be a part of the K1ds Count family and looks forward to many years to come!
VERONICA GODUTO, RBT
Veronica is a 2012 graduate of Brownsburg High School. Veronica started at K1ds Count in the Spring of 2016. She is very excited to be in the field and loves working with the kids. She lives in Brownsburg with her puppy Shiloh.
ALICE DANCLER, RBT
Alice grew up in Danville, IN and is the mother of 3 kids. Her kiddos are ages 14, 8 and 2. Alice runs a non-profit basketball club that provides workout opportunities for kids in between running kiddos around to sports. She attended IUPUI and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. Her career goal was to work with kids and she is doing just that. Alice was a teacher for several years and was blessed with the opportunity to be a stay at home mom with each of her kids prior to coming to K1ds Count.
ASHLEY PRULHIERE, RBT
Ashley grew up in Orange County, California. She attended Western Governors University for Interdisciplinary Studies. Her goal is to eventually become a Special Ed Teacher. During her down time, she enjoys spending time with her two children.

Emily grew up in Greenwood. She majored in Biology and minored in psychology at Marian UniversIty. Emily hopes to earn her masters in occupational therapy. She enjoys painting, singing and dancing. She is excited to share her hobbies with the children of K1ds Count.
AMANDA BLADES, RBT
Amanda is from Kokomo, Indiana. She has a degree in general studies and enjoys camping, watching her kids’ sporting events, and garage sales. Her career goal is to be an occupational therapist. She has experience working in a specialized school for children with behavioral challenges, and enjoys her position as an RBT at K1ds Count helping children of all ages and abilities.
BRITTANY WILLIAMS, RBT
Brittany grew up in Richmond, Indiana. She studied at IU and received a BA in fine arts. Brittany enjoys dancing, sewing, and art/pottery. She enjoys helping children at K1ds Count and looks to pursue graduate school in the future to continue pursuing this passion.

Jordan grew up in Avon, Indiana. She attended college at IUPUI. She looks forward to making a difference for others, and specifically loves working with children. Jordan loves reading, walking her dogs, hiking, and camping.
ALEXANDRIA GOTKOWSKI, RBT
Alex grew up in Illinois and moved to Brownsburg in 5th grade. She has a BS in neurobiology and physiology and is looking forward to attending graduate school for occupational therapy. She is excited to work at K1ds Count as a registered behavior technician while going to graduate school. Personally, Alex loves soccer and helping children.
MALERIE VONBURG, RBT
Malerie grew up in Avon. She has a BS in psychology with a minor in sociology. She enjoys showing her dogs and photography. Malerie loves kids and is excited to pursue ABA therapy.
CORRINE DOLL, RBT
Corrine grew up in Lebanon, Indiana. She has a degree in speech and hearing sciences from Purdue. She enjoys playing piano, puzzles, and movies. Corrine has a passion to help children communicate. She is excited to begin ABA therapy and later become a speech therapist!
MOLLY GRAY, RBT
Molly spent her first 8 years in Costa Rica before moving to Brookeville, IN. She now lives in Indianapolis. Molly received a BA in communication sciences and disorders as well as Spanish from Butler University. She currently has her SLPA license and would like to achieve her MA in speech, BCBA, and work with bilingual populations. She likes K1ds Count because of its integration of OT and speech into ABA and well as for its LAMP expertise, atmosphere, and supportive team. Molly enjoys spending time with her husband, family, cat, and friends. She also likes Netflix, Harry Potter, light crafting, and playing the ukulele.
DENISHA MORALES, RBT
Denisha grew up in Crawfordsville, IN. She attended Manchester University and graduated with a degree in education and Spanish. Denisha works with all kids at our Crawfordsville location, but assists with our Spanish speaking families. She enjoys seeing the progress that the children make. In her personal time, Denisha likes reading and traveling.
STORMY CASSIDA, RBT
Stormy grew up in Cicero, Indiana. She studied social work at Vincennes University. Her career goal is to obtain a master’s degree in social work. Until then, she really enjoys working with kids doing ABA therapy. She also likes reading, movies, and camping.

Jessica grew up in Brownsburg, Indiana. She received a BA in psychology from IUPUI. Jessica would love to pursue her master’s degree in ABA. She enjoys K1ds Count and working to help children become more independent. Outside of work, she likes dancing and hiking.

Ophelia grew up in Crawfordsville, IN. She studied psychology and creative writing at DePauw. She enjoys working with children and looks forward to helping others and bettering the lives of children and families she serves.

Adrienne grew up, and currently resides, in Brownsburg. She attended U of I and received her Bachelor’s in Elementary Education. Her career goals are to become a teacher and go back to school to get her Master’s. She enjoys cooking, tennis, reading, and being a soccer mom.
MICHELE JETT, RBT
Michelle grew up in Crawfordsville and currently resides in New Market. She attended Millikin University, and earned her Bachelor’s in Human Services. Previously, she worked in the public school system for 12 years, and an alternative school for two years, as a Behavior Interventionist. Her career goal is to gain more knowledge of ABA and continue to improve as a therapist. She enjoys photography and attending her kids’ soccer and softball games.
MARIAH WELLS, RBT
A native of Indiana, Mariah grew up in Terre Haute and currently resides in Avon. She attended Saint Mary of the Woods College, earning her Bachelor’s in Human Services. Her previous experiences in the field of ABA include relocating to Evansville to work for an ABA clinic as an RBT. She then became a RBT trainer as well. Her ultimate career goal is to become a BCBA. She loves to cook, and became a vegetarian in 2017, which has challenged her in the kitchen. She enjoys making healthy dishes and experimenting with different flavors.
LAUREN MOODY, RBT
A life-long resident of Brownsburg, Lauren left to attend Indiana University where she received her Bachelor’s in Recreational Therapy. In college, she was a lab assistant for an Adaptive PE class, and also volunteered doing therapeutic horse back riding at PALS, which sparked here interest in working with children on the Autism spectrum. Her ultimate career goal is to work with the geriatric population doing Recreational Therapy. She enjoys crafting, hanging out with friends and family, hiking, and camping.
CHRISTOPHER BLEVINS, RBT
After growing up in Baltimore, Christopher attended Indiana State University where he received a Master’s in Exercise Science. Since, he has gained three years of experience in ABA, and he hopes to continue working as a Registered Behavioral Technician to help kids accomplish their full potential. He enjoys exercising and hanging out with family. He also trains and competes in professional mixed martial arts competitions.
DANIELLE SNYDER, RBT
Danielle grew up in Pittsboro, Indiana, and attends Indiana Wesleyan University where she is pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Though she had no previous experience working with children with Autism prior to joining K1ds Count, she does have personal friends with Autism. She plans to continue studying and completing her degree in Psychology and hopes to continue her training and career with the company. She would like to go back to school and complete a Master’s in the area of BCBA and advance further than a CBT. Danielle is a very active person. She likes to workout consistently and loves sports as a whole. She enjoys music in general, and also personally sings and plays guitar. as I sing and play guitar. She loves to bake and would like to expand a baking business as a side job alongside working with K1ds Count.
BRIE LEPPERT, RBT
Brie was raised in Fishers, Indiana and currently resides in Indianapolis. Her love of working with kids comes from years of nannying and babysitting. She has worked as a camp counselor, Bible school teacher, assistant preschool teacher, and a children’s’ swim instructor. Her experience with kids with autism started in high school when she became part of the Best Buddy Club and started working as an RBT. She found the field of ABA by chance, when a good friend told her about it. After researching ABA, she felt called to the field! She loves anything creative; such as writing and making crafts. She loves playing with her pets, and one of her favorite hobbies is organizing and cleaning.
AERON HYLTON, RBT
Aeron is a recent graduate of The University of Southern Indiana with her Bachelors of Science in Psychology. While she doesn’t have any previous ABA experience, she is ready to see what this field has to offer. Aeron ultimately wants to become an SLP, so she can continue helping kids find their voice! In her free time, she likes to go to the gym/exercise, binge watch Harry Potter, and spend time with friends/family. She also enjoys reading, baking and being crafty!
LALAH JOHNSON, RBT
Born and raised in Indianapolis, Lalah attended Cardinal Ritter High School, prior to receiving her Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education. Prior to being employed with Kids Count, she worked with children with autism in preschool and after school programs. After teaching preschool for several years, she decided to pursue a new field that would allow her to fulfill her passion of working with children. She enjoys cooking, baking, reading, and listening to music, as well as spending time with, and traveling, with her husband.

Olivia is a native, “Brownsburgian”. She attended University of Indianapolis where she earned a Bachelor’s in Public Health, and currently resides in the city. She gained experience working with children on the spectrum while employed with a day care, she also nannied a boy with autism, then spent time working with Brain Balance. One of her career goals is to go back to school to obtain a Master’s in Public Health. She enjoys spending time with family and friends in her free time.

Bri is originally from, and currently resides in Greenwood, Indiana. She attended IUPUI and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology. She learned about the field of ABA from a friend, and found K1ds Count due to her desire to work with children. Her career goal is to one day become a BCBA. In her free time she enjoys hanging out with friends, reading, and swimming.
KELSI MOORE, RBT
A native “Hoosier”, Kelsi, grew up in Vermillion and Montgomery Counties in Indiana. She attended Southmont High School and currently resides in Crawfordsville. Her interest in, and experience with children on the spectrum, originated through interactions with autistic children she babysat for personal friends. She loves the idea of helping children, and their families, reach milestones they have set. Her career goal is to go to college and get a degree, which she attributes to her job with K1ds Count. It opened her eyes to so many aspects of life and things she had previously taken for granted. Her hobbies include spending time with her family, and her cat, Kobe. Bri’s summers are filled with camping, fishing, swimming, and her niece’s softball tournaments!
ANGEL DOWELL, RBT
Angel grew up, and currently resides, in Crawfordsville, Indiana. She attended University of Indianapolis where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. Though she had no previous experience working with children with Autism prior to joining the K1ds Count team, she had always had an interest in the ABA field. She looks forward to continuing to grow as a therapist, by learning from and collaborating with others in the field. She enjoys crafting for her small business and going to her fiancé and kids’ sporting events.
RAVEN DAVIS, RBT
Raven grew up, and currently resides, in Crawfordsville, Indiana. She attends Ivy Tech where she is pursuing a degree in Special Education. Her interest in working with children with Autism began during her time babysitting a little girl with Autism. She also work in the special needs room both her Junior and Senior years of high school. She would like to complete her college education and become a special education teacher. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, reading, going shopping, being outside, and getting her nails done.
SETH NUNAN, RBT
After growing up in Crawfordsville, Seth attended Claremont Graduate University, earning his PhD in Philosophy of Religion and Theology, prior to returning home to Crawfordsville. His first experience with individuals with ASD began in high school, when he was privileged to act as a peer tutor to several classmates with varying learning needs. He also had the opportunity to serve in a number of capacities within behavioral health organizations working to impact the lives of patients and/or clients some of whom had diagnoses of ASD. His family recently made the big decision to put down permanent roots in Crawfordsville. As a Wabash College graduate and Montgomery County native, he has a personal tie and emotional investment in this community. He has found that K1ds Count offers him ample opportunity to turn his years of professional experience, and higher education ,into a fulfilling career that directly affects the community in which he lives and allows him to play a role in the shaping and development of K1ds Count’s future. He, and his wife, enjoy running, and regularly participate in local races sponsored by Montgomery County businesses. They have completed several half marathons and have one full marathon under their belts. They have also recruited their 8 year old daughter as their next running partner, and she has already earned medals for a handful of her own 5ks. Seth enjoys crocheting, reading, and engaging in philosophical thought and discussion within the realm of religion and theology.

Jessica hails from the Buckeye State, having grown up in Cincinnati, Ohio. She received her degree in Allied Health Science from South University Online, and currently resides in Crawfordsville. She is the mom of premature baby who was born at 23 1/2 weeks. She was drawn to the field of ABA because she wanted to make a difference in the lives of children. Her career goals are to become RBT certified, then continue to further her education. She enjoys music, crafts and spending time with family in her free time.
JESSICA HENSLEY, RBT
As a mother of five (two biological and three step), and through experience with a number of children she has babysat over the years, Jessica, has a great deal of experience working with children. Originally from Indianapolis, Jessica now resides in Danville, and credits much of her interest in working with children on the Spectrum to her time as a nanny for a little boy with autism. After working with him for a year, she helped him accomplish so much that her family encouraged her to find a career where I could help more children with autism. Her hobbies include reading, riding motorcycles and quads, doing leather-working, photography, jewelry making, floral design for weddings, and painting.
WESLEY LANG, RBT
Wesley grew up, and currently resides, in Crawfordsville. He attended Ivy Tech Community College, studying Dental Assisting. His previous experience working with a child with autism, a family member, drove him to seek a, “more rewarding career” where he could work with children and make a difference. His goal is to continue his career as an RBT, and eventually go back to school to get a degree in the field. In his spare time, he enjoys, spending time with his kids and going to see musicals. He’s an animal lover and enjoys doing crafts, hiking, reading, and cooking with his kids.

Born and raised in Crawfordsville, Abby attended Purdue where she earned a Bachelor’s in Human Services. She was introduced to ABA in college and has always loved being around children. Her career goal is to continue working in ABA to help make a difference in other people’s lives. She loves working out and spending time with her family and friends in her free time.

MEGAN GREEN, RBT
Megan grew up in Martinsville, and currently resides in Roachdale. She attended Ivy Tech Community College and was drawn to the field of ABA after volunteering at Horseshoes of Hope. There, she helped guide and teach children with Autism how to properly ride a horse! Her career goal is to become better every day at her job while making a difference in the lives of children. She is a singer and does personal “gigs” as a side job. She’s attend competitions and tries to write songs for herself as an artist.
SABRINA AMOS, RBT
Born and raised in Indianapolis, Sabrina, attended IUPUI where she earned a degrees in Psychology and Spanish. She became interested in the field of ABA because she knew she wanted to make a difference in someone’s life, and she love working with kids. Naturally, ABA was a perfect fit for her. She would like to complete her Master’s and become a BCBA one day. She loves to read and paint. She also loves to cuddle on the couch with her dog and watch Netflix.

Christina grew up all around the world! She is a “military brat” who has lived in Germany, Florida, Texas, New York, and Indiana, and currently resides in Indianapolis. She attended IUPUI where she earned her Bachelor’s in Health and Human Services. Prior to working with K1ds Count she had no experience working with children with autism, but was excited to start a new chapter in her life by doing so. Her career goal is to become an BCBA within the next couple of years. She loves to bake, cook, and run! Her goal is to run the downtown mini-marathon, and she can also bake an awesome batch of chocolate chip cookies! She is a wife, of 17 years, and a mom of 5 children! She went back to school to pursue her degree in Health and Human Science after time spent as a stay at home mom!
ERIKA HARRIS, RBT
After growing up in Iowa, and attending Dexfield High School, Erika eventually moved to Indiana and now resides in Avon. She started working with special needs children, with a variety of disabilities including Autism, Down syndrome, and Cerebral Palsy, when she was 14. She also has 2 nephews who have Autism and a cousin with Asperger’s. She loves working with special needs, and thought ABA would be a perfect fit for her! Her career goal is to become more knowledgeable in the RBT field, and continue to improve the skills she already has. She potentially like pursue leadership opportunities when available. She loves to read, listen to music, watch movies, shop, spend time with her boyfriend, friends, family, and her dog. And she also loves the beach!
HAYLEA ISENHOWER, RBT
Haylea was born and raised in central Indiana, in the Frankfort and Lebanon areas. She attended Ivy Tech Community College, earning an Associate’s of Applied Sciences in Medical Assisting. One day she hopes to get her BCBA. She spends a lot of time outdoors, her dog is her world, and she loves to read and be with her family and friends.
TAYLOR KEMP, RBT
Taylor is a “Bulldog” through and through. She grew up in, and currently resides in Brownsburg where she attended Brownsburg High School. She was ready for a career change, but still wanted work with kids, so the ABA field was a perfect fit. Eventually, she would like to become an RBT, and possibly go to school for ST. She enjoys running, listening to music, and drinking coffee, as well as playing with her dogs!
TERRA HARRIS, RBT
Terra was born and raised, and continues to reside, in New Ross, Indiana. She attended University of Evansville earning her Bachelors in Elementary Education. She has worked with children all her life. When she was younger she babysat children, and started pursuing elementary education as she got older. She became interested in ABA because of her passion for help children. Her career goal is to continue to grow with us here at K1ds Count and continue to take on more responsibility. When she is home, she enjoys working on her house, reading books, and watching tv.
VICTORIA FARROW, RBT
Born and raised in nearby Jamestown, Indiana, Victoria currently resides in Advance. She attended Bethel College where she earned her Bachelors in Sociology. She has been working with children with Autism since January 2018. Before joining the K1ds Count team, she worked at the Behavioral Analysis Center for Autism located in northern Indiana. After living in northern Indiana for several years, she decided it was time to transition back to her home community. She heard about K1ds Count from people in the community, and through her own research. It was important to her to find a center with values and a mission statement that also lined up with their actions, and K1ds Count did just that! She is currently in the process of beginning graduate school to pursue further education in ABA. After completing grad school she plans to work towards becoming a BCBA. She loves connecting with people, and spending quality time with the people she loves is one of er favorite things to do. She is also an animal lover, and she takes every opportunity she can to be around, and care for, animals. To relax, she likes to sing and read. Discovering new books, and music, is one of her favorite things to do as well.
ALEXA HOSKINS, RBT
Alexa grew up, and currently resides, in Williamsport, Indiana. She attended University of Indianapolis where she earned her Bachelors in Elementary Education. Before working with K1ds Count, she had little to no experience working with children on the spectrum. However, she has always loved children, and knew she wanted a career focused on helping kids. She is passionate about children, and making an impact on their lives, which is what led her to us. Her career goal is to go back to school and further her education. She enjoys spending her free time with friends and family. She is also a huge Chicago Cubs fan, so her summers are typically spent on the lake or watching baseball.
JOSLYN RAMIREZ, RBT
Joslyn grew up in Brownsburg and attended Indiana University where she joined College Mentors for Kids, as well as the Autism Mentoring Program. Previously, she completed an internship at an ABA clinic where she gained experience and found her passion of helping kids be the best version of themselves possible. After college she knew she wanted to work with kids where she lived, so I decided to check out K1ds Count and found that it is a great environment. Eventually, she would like to get her BCBA and work in a school setting, or in homes with the entire family unit. She enjoys nature and doing things outside. She loves spending time with her family and boyfriend, and likes to use creativity to do crafts and cooking. She is a music lover and enjoys seeing live music or making playlists in her spare time.
PAYTON JACKSON, RBT
Born and raised in Indiana, Payton grew up in Marion and now resides in Brownsburg. She attended Indiana University where she earned her Bachelors in Applied Health Science. She previously spent two years working with children with autism prior to joining K1ds Count. Her career goal is to one day become a BCBA. In her free time she enjoys sleeping, baking, watching Netflix and shopping.

Bella grew up, and currently resides, in Brownsburg. She is studying Speech Pathology at Purdue University and looks forward to graduating college to provide speech therapy to kids with autism. She has previously spent time nannying and volunteering with a charter school for kids with exceptional needs. In her free time she enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her family.
MELANIE BROWN, RBT
Melanie is a lifelong “Brownsburgian”. She is currently attending University of Indianapolis studying Psychology. She gained her first experiences working with children with autism while working as an after care worker and volunteering as a Sunday School teacher. One day she would like to become a child psychologist and work with children, and their families, who have mental and physical disabilities. When not working, Melanie loves reading, writing and bike riding.
ZACH EAST, RBT
Originally from the Indianapolis area, Zach attended IUPUI where he earned his Bachelors in Neuroscience. He became interested in the field of ABA because he wanted to use the psychology focus from his degree after having previously tried the biology side. One day he would like to do something related to policy and/or business as the next step in his career. His hobbies include ceramics, nature walks, thrift shopping, decor, art fairs, live music, foreign foods and travel.
AMBER GRIFFIN, RBT
Originally from Hendricks County, Amber grew up in Danville and currently resides in Plainfield. She studied Exercise Science, and minored in Public Health. She has previously worked with children in daycare settings, then worked as a home health aid, and a behavioral clinician working with children with special needs. Her career goal is to one day become a BCaBa or BCBA. Her hobbies include reading, knitting and playing with her dog.

Lea grew up on the east side of Indianapolis and currently resides on the north side. Though she had no experience in ABA prior to joining K1ds Cont, she loved working with children. She knew this field would give her the opportunity to help make a difference while gaining experience in a professional environment. Her career goal is to become an elementary school teacher one day. In her spare time she enjoys playing volleyball and camping.
KIARA CALDWELL, RBT
Born and raised in Jamestown, Kiara, attended Anderson University where she earned her Bachelor’s in Christian Ministries. She has worked in a daycare setting since she was 16, and more recently she had the tremendous pleasure of serving as the assistant coordinator director at an after school program in Anderson! She is very passionate about working with children and child development. One of her career goals is to go back to school to get her Master’s degree in Social Work, hopefully for continued therapy practice! In her spare time she enjoys painting and drawing, journaling, volunteering when she has the chance, and spending quality time with her friends and family!
JAZZMIN LAFFIN, RBT
Jazzmin grew up in Indianapolis and currently resides in Plainfield. She attended Ivy Tech Community College where she earned degree in Business Administration. Previously, she has worked with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities for over three years, and she is excited to gain experience working with children with ASD! Her goal is to transfer to Ball State to continue working towards her Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management. She enjoys reading books, taking hikes, and working out!

Born and raised in Brownsburg, Carlie attended Indiana Wesleyan University where she earned her degree in Sport Management. She worked with a couple of kids at a summer camp that had autism. She enjoyed working with them and watching them grow so much that she decided to pursue a career in ABA. Her career goal is to continue doing anything related to working with kids. Eventually she may go back to school to get her teaching license. She loves being outside and doing activities such as hiking, kayaking or playing sports. She also loves being around her family and friends.
AMALIA PHILLIPS, RBT
Born and raised in Hendricks County, Amalia grew up in Brownsburg and Avon. She attended Indiana University where she majored in Speech and Hearing Sciences, with minors in Linguistics and Psychology. She became interested in the field of ABA because many of her peers shared such great experiences about their work in the field. After discovering K1ds Count, and our “family” feel, she knew it was the right fit for her career! One day she would like to become a Speech Pathologist for pediatrics in a school setting. In her free-time she enjoys hiking and spending time in the sun, as well as reading and playing brain games.
JESSICA MARTIN, RBT
Born and raised in Speedway, Jessica when to IUPUI earning her Bachelors in General Studies. Her younger sister had Autism, which is what helped her find her passion for working with children, especially those with special needs. Her career goal is to enjoy what she does for a living and help better the lives of others. She loves to be outside, travel, hang out with friends and her dog.
KATE WILSON, RBT
Kate came to us all the way from Australia, where she grew up. She currently resides in Indianapolis, but she earned her degree in Art Therapy from the Herron School of Art and Design. She previously worked with children in a variety of capacities including substitute teaching, nannying, as well as working in the field of ABA. She found K1ds Count through LinkedIn in her search for an establishment that would continue to educate and provide opportunities for advancement and an educational environment for the staff as well as the clients. Her career goal is to reach her potential in being a part of an equation that will change individuals’ lives, and to also make sure the kids in her caseload will exceed their potential. A typical afternoon, after work, includes coming home to her fur baby and going on a walk through the neighborhood or Eagle Creek. After some fresh air and exercise/hike, she likes to come home and cook, usually with her sister. Camping, live music, and painting are a few of her favorites.
JESSICA BURNETT, RBT
Originally from Marshall, Indiana, Jessica now resides in Rosedale. He studied Healthcare Management at National American University. She became interested in the field of ABA because she wanted to become familiar with a different field of study, and she hopes to make a difference in the lives of others throughout her career. In her free-time she makes, and sells, hair bows.
SAVANAH BYNM, RBT
Savanah is from Indianapolis and currently resides in Speedway. She earned her Bachelor’s in Biology, from Purdue University. She has previously volunteered with the read to succeed program via Lafayette’s United Way. Her career goal is to eventually become a marriage and family therapist to positively impact the African American community. In her free-time she enjoys watching documentaries, traveling, and growing vegetables.
RAVEN DELPH, RBT
Raven grew up in Brownsburg and currently resides in Danville. She double majored in Psychology and Business while attending Holy Cross College. Her previous experiences include working as a babysitter and nanny since the age of 13. She also spent 3 summers working at an overnight residential summer camp in the Poconos mountains, as well as working in a high school special education classroom and coaching basketball teams. She has multiple cousins on the spectrum, and she has worked for her aunt to help care for them. Though she has always wanted to work with children, she fell in love with mental health in college. She watched her friend do an internship for an ABA clinic and, after hearing wonderful things and how they impacted their kids’ lives’, she knew this was the career for her. Her career goal is to eventually become a BCBA, and complete her Masters at Ball State University. She enjoys anything outdoors, concerts, reading, going to the gym, spending time with friends and family, as well as cooking.
DANYELLE BONEBRAKE, RBT
Danyelle is a Lead RBT at our Crawfordsville location. Previous to K1ds Count, she worked with disabled adults and also with troubled teens within group homes. She has also worked as an assistant preschool teacher. She enjoys sunshine, canoeing, sports, and spending time with friends and family. She wants to continue learning ABA and grow within the field.
KATIE MINGUS, RBT
Born and raised in Brownsburg, Katie earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology from IUPUI. From the time she was 12 years old she has worked with children of all ages in some capacity; babysitting, in the nursery at church, cadet teaching, YoungLife, teen camps, Riley Children’s Hospital, and daycare. Though she had not directly worked with autistic children, her family is very close friends with a family that has a 21 year old son with autism. Their families grew up with one another and spent a lot of time together over the years. She also have a cousin, with special needs, who lives in Brownsburg. She decided to start in the ABA field because she has always had a heart for working with kids. Since recently finding out more about ABA therapy, she feels this will be a great way for her to pursueher passion of working with, and helping, kids. She enjoys partaking in physical activities, spending time with her family, traveling, finding a good deal, and eating ice cream.

Kieraleigh was born in Indianapolis and currently resides in Brownsburg. She earned her Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy from University of Indianapolis. She previously worked with children as an intern at Riley Children’s Hospital. Ultimately, one day, she would like to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She enjoys reading and coloring in her free time.

Originally from the Buckeye state, Brianna currently resides in Eagle Creek. She earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology from University of Indianapolis. One of her best friends growing up had a brother with autism, whom she formed a special bond with, which is what got her interested in the field of ABA. Someday, she would like to become a BCBA. In her free time she enjoys working out, being outside and going on adventures, reading and cooking. She loves listening to Luke Combs, Carrie Underwood, and Darius Rucker. Some of the most important things in her life are spending time with family and friends, and doing things that make her happy. She loves being around people and helping out whenever she can. She also loves making new friends wherever she goes!

Kasey grew up a few hours south of Indianapolis, in Louisville, Kentucky, and now resides in Indianapolis. She earned her Bachelor’s in Special Education, with a focus on Intense Interventions, from Ball State University. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, watching movies, and spending time with her family.

Ashley received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Indiana University to become a speech language pathologist. She enjoys treating pediatric feeding disorders as well as childhood apraxia of speech (CAS). Ashley also has training in LAMP. Kristen grew up in Noblesville, IN. She attended Ball State University where she received both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Speech-Language Pathology and a minor in Spanish. Kristen discovered her passion for working with children during her undergraduate and graduate level clinicals at the Ball State University Clinic and many years of volunteering through Special Olympics throughout middle school, high school and college. In her free time, Kristen enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends. Kristen’s goal is to help children achieve their full potential with communication and social interactions within their community.

Alli is an Indiana native. She grew up in Elwood and current resides in Carmel. She attended Indiana State University in Terre Haute where she earned her Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology. Over the past two and a half years she has had experience treating and evaluating children in regard to articulation, language, pragmatics, cognitive, and feeding skills in both outpatient clinic and school settings. Her career goal is to continue working with the pediatric population, primarily focusing on pediatric feeding and swallowing. In her free time Alli enjoys running (leisurely and competitively), attending markets/festivals, and spending time with friends and family.

Micaelah grew up in Brookston, Indiana and currently resides nearby in Zionsville. She attended Eastern Illinois University where she earned her Master’s in Communication Disorders and Sciences. Her first experience working with children with Autism came while she was an ABA therapy intern at an Autism Center in Lafayette. She absolutely loved it and worked with a wide variety of children on the spectrum. She was drawn to ABA because of her experience with children. She has always loved kids and helping them and their families overcome challenges. She worked as an ABA therapist before going to grad school for speech language pathology, and knew she would love to continue working with this population as a speech therapist in the future. Someday she would like to get an additional Masters degree and become a BCBA in the future. She loves to spend time with my family and friends. She also enjoys traveling and has a desire to explore new places. She loves to be outside doing various activities, as well as cooking and baking.

Tammy spent her childhood growing up in Los Angeles, as well as the Indianapolis area. Having graduated from Purdue University with her Bachelors, she then attended Western Kentucky University earning her Masters in Speech Language and Hearing Sciences. She currently resides in Indianapolis, but prior to joining K1ds Count, she worked with children with ASD and various language disorders at WKU’s pediatric clinic. She also gained experience working with ASD, feeding and swallowing disorders, and language disorders at the medical center of Bowling Green hospital pediatric outpatient. She worked with preschool aged children at Franklin Elementary in Kentucky. After graduating, she knew she wanted to work with children and move home to Indianapolis to be near family, which is what brought her to K1ds Count. Her career goal is to gain her CCC and move on to a leadership/ supervisory position within her profession. She would like to expand her knowledge working with young children with feeding and swallowing disorders. She enjoys traveling, shopping, watching movies , playing tennis, and cheering on Purdue sports!

Katie was born, raised, and currently resides in Indianapolis, Indiana. She attended Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois where she received her Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology. Originally, she envisioned a career in editing and publishing, but realized toward the end of college she wanted to do something which would allow her to interact with people more regularly. That’s when she discovered speech therapy and found it lined up perfectly with her interests! Her career goal is to learn as much as possible from the people around her, so she can keep improving the quality of her therapy. Katie loves reading, writing, and swimming. She also spends a lot of time with her family’s dogs and her chinchilla, Dougal.

Kaitlin was raised in Carmel, Indiana. She received her B.S. in Psychology from Centre College in Danville, KY. From Centre, she went on to work as a Behavior Therapist for children with autism. During those years, she found her passion for helping children learn how to successfully communicate. She then decided to complete her master’s degree in Communicative Disorders at the University of Louisville. Kaitlin enjoys working with both children in the clinic and the school settings. In Kaitlin’s free time, she enjoys biking, hiking, and cooking.
LAUREN HARPER, M.A., CCC-SLP, SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST
Lauren is a central Indiana native, growing up in Fishers, and currently residing in Zionsville. She earned a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Indiana University. Prior to continuing her career as a Speech-Language Pathologist at K1ds Count, she held the same position at a pediatric outpatient center for two years, where she worked with children with various diagnoses including ASD, CP, TBI, and Down’s syndrome. Her diverse background grew through her work with children with suspected Childhood Apraxia of Speech, dysphasia, and children with articulation and language impairments as well. As an outpatient Speech-Language Pathologist, Lauren enjoyed utilizing LAMP Words for Life with her patients, to give nonverbal or preverbal children a voice. After touring K1ds Count for the first time, and interacting with the team, she was immediately overwhelmed by how kind and welcoming everyone was. She chose to join the team, and is excited about the many opportunities for personal growth that will be presented in working so closely with a variety of disciplines! Lauren is very family oriented and enjoys experiencing the outdoors with her husband, Andrew, and their puppy, Oliver. In her spare time, she loves to run, read, and travel.
HOLLY SHERRY, M.S., CF-SLP, SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST
Holly is a native Kentuckian, growing up in Owensboro and graduating from University of Kentucky with her Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. After completing her graduate program, Holly got married and moved to her current residence in Fishers, Indiana, joining her husband who had previously relocated to the area for work. While casually researching jobs, and practices in and around Fishers, K1ds Count was the first to catch her eye. After reading several reviews about the company, and the therapy they provide, she knew she had found her dream job! Though she had no previous experience with ABA, Holly has made it a career goal to never stop learning and growing, personally and professionally. When providing therapy during her undergraduate and graduate school years, it was clear behaviors had a huge impact on her clients. She is thankful for the opportunity to learn, and gain more knowledge in this area, with a practice which works so closely with ABA. Holly is looking forward to continuing her career at K1ds Count, and hopes to someday take on leadership and supervision roles, to pay forward all the kindness others have shown her throughout her career. Holly and her husband recently got a puppy and spend most of their free time playing with him! They are avid music fans and enjoy attending concerts and music festivals. Most importantly, she looks forward to visiting family and friends as much as possible.

After growing up in Portage, Michigan, Caitlin attended Purdue University where she earned her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Prior to completing her Master’s in SLP, she worked with kids with Autism as an ABA therapist. After graduate school she completed her clinical fellowship at the Riley Child Development Center where she did team assessments with children with neurodevelopmental disorders including Autism. She then worked at an ABA center for two years. She loves working with children with Autism because they are uninhibited and completely themselves. She enjoys seeing their joy and sense of humor. She stumbled upon ABA six years ago and have enjoyed working in the field ever sense. One of her career goals is to continue to learn how to join ABA and Speech therapy. She likes playing piano and reading in her spare time.
AMANDA BRINDLE, M.S., CCC-SLP, SPEECH THERAPIST
Amanda is originally from Brownsburg and graduated from Brownsburg High School. She attended Indiana University in Bloomington where she received a BS in Speech and Hearing Sciences. She then moved to Louisville where she obtained her master’s degree in speech language pathology from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. While in graduate school, Amanda participated in clinical practicums in an outpatient clinic for children and adults, a clinic for children with orofacial anomalies, an adult day program, a hospital with a skilled nursing facility, as well as a residential facility for adults with severe cognitive deficits. Out of graduate school, Amanda remained at the residential facility as a full-time therapist. There she focused on low tech augmentative communication and swallowing disorders. After moving back to Indiana in 2007, she began to work in a specialized school serving children with autism, emotional disability, and other developmental disorders. In addition to their diagnoses, all the children also demonstrate behaviors that impede their ability to be successful in a more traditional school setting. In the school setting, Amanda has experience with articulation disorders, expressive and receptive language disorders, low and high tech augmentative communication, and pragmatic language deficits.

Maura grew up way out in Chandler, Arizona where she eventually attended University of Arizona to earn her Bachelor’s in Neuroscience and Cognitive Science. She later attended graduate school at Washington State University where she earned her Master’s in Speech and Hearing Sciences. She now resides in Brownsburg. She became interested in ABA while wanting to shadow speech therapists. Once she found K1ds Count she fell in love with the field in general! Currently she hopes to earn her SLP. She enjoys hanging out with her dog Mowgli, watching movies, exploring Indiana/Indianapolis, and going to the art museum.
SARAH ORR, SPEECH THERAPIST
Sarah grew up in New Albany, Indiana and currently resides in Avon. She earned her Master’s in Speech Pathology from Western Kentucky University. She has been working in the schools for 3 1/2 years, working with children Pre-K through 6th grade, with a variety of disorders. She has experience working with children of various ages with autism, and also has experience making visuals, social stories, activities for teachers and parents, and collaborating with teachers etc. Her ultimate career goal is to continuing growing in the knowledge of speech and language, as well as continuing to provide services and support to children and families to the best of her ability. She wants to continue growing her skills and branching out of her comfort zone. In her spare time, she loves to play with her puppy, Barkley, and hang out with her husband, Dustin. She enjoys reading, cooking, hiking, and playing tennis. She also enjoys traveling and going to new places, as well as spending time with her friends and family!
RACHEL NAKAO, SPEECH THERAPIST
Born and raised in Indianapolis, Rachel began her collegiate career at Indiana University, before eventually completing her Master’s in Speech Language Pathology from Fort Hays State University. During her summers in undergrad, she was a summer camp counselor and worked with children from ages of 5 to 10 years old. While completing her clinical externship, she worked with preschoolers with ASD in a school setting. She has always enjoyed working with children and wanted to start her career where she would have the ability to make a difference in the lives of children. Though she did not previously have any prior experience with ABA, she wanted to push herself into learning something new. After completing her Master’s degree in Kansas, she wanted to move back home to Indy after graduation. While searching for jobs, she stumbled upon K1ds Count and liked the mission that the company advocates. K1ds Count values the importance of individualized therapy for each child, which was inline with her values, as well. She hopes to learn as much as possible as a new speech therapist. With this specific discipline there is a lot of knowledge to gain, and she has learned that K1ds Count provides many opportunities for a clinician to grow. She is also interested in the areas of swallowing/feeding, so she hopes to eventually gain more clinical skills with those topics as well. She enjoys spending time with family and friends now that she is back in Indiana, but also enjoys baking and traveling when she has the opportunity.
JOANNA HOLSAPPLE, BS/MSOT, OTR, OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
Joanna was born and raised near Bloomington, Indiana. She decided that she wanted to be an Occupational Therapist after her sister, a physical therapy assistant, introduced her to the field of OT. Joanna attended the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville and graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in 2014 and a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy in May 2015. While in college, Joanna had the opportunity to work as a patient care technician in an acute care hospital, which solidified her decision to pursue Occupational Therapy. She completed two fieldwork rotations while in OT school working with the pediatric population, including children with feeding disorders, cerebral palsy, developmental delays, autism, sensory processing disorders, as well as adults with developmental disabilities. She also participated in a community service project while in OT school about ADA compliance in regards to playground accessibility and as a result, is passionate about inclusion in play. Joanna’s clinical interests including working with children who have difficulties with feeding, sensory issues, social skills, and handwriting. She enjoys working with children and is passionate about providing each child with the means to successfully perform meaningful occupations independently. Joanna is very excited to work with a team that will impact the lives of children and their families for years to come.
KEELEY HENDRICKS, MOT, OTR, OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
Keeley grew up in Carmel, Indiana. She obtained a Bachelor degree in Therapeutic Recreation from The University of Tennessee-Knoxville. She then went on to receive her Master of Occupational Therapy from the University of Indianapolis. Her passion for working with kids stems from working multiple summers at camps for children with different diagnoses and abilities as a lifeguard and activity staff. Previously to coming to K1ds Count, Keeley worked as an OT in a residential school. She has a passion for sensory regulation, inclusion of all abilities, and focusing on what individuals are capable of, not their limitations. She enjoys camping, kayaking, playing board games, and spending time with her family. Keeley is excited to learn from and collaborate with all of the amazing disciplines at K1ds Count!
JAMIE APPELSIES, MS, OTR, OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
Jamie grew up in Munster, IN before moving to Carmel, Indiana in middle school. She attended Indiana University, Bloomington where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in applied health sciences with a minor in youth development and psychology. She then went on to get her master’s degree in occupational therapy from Indiana University on IUPUI’s campus. Jamie participated in Best Buddies and peer mentoring in high school, which is where she discovered her passion for working with children with disabilities. While completing her pediatric fieldwork rotation, she worked with children with down syndrome, autism, rare genetic conditions, cerebral palsy, and various diagnoses. During graduate school, she had the opportunity to participate in a service learning trip to Belize where she spent most of her time working with ‘at risk youth’ on shaping their futures. Jamie is excited to work with ABA therapist, BCBAs, program managers, speech therapists and physical therapist to help children reach their highest potential.

Kate grew up in Terre Haute. She attended the University of Southern Indiana to receive her MS in occupational therapy. Her clinical work in graduate school consisted of working with children with ASD. She is excited to work at K1ds Count in a team environment that focuses on a holistic approach to treatment for each child. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, being outside, and spending time with her husband and dog.
KENZI LINDQUIST, MSOT, OTR, OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
Kenzi grew up in Veedersburg, Indiana and current resides in Indianapolis. She attended IUPUI where she received her Bachelor’s in biology with a minor in psychology. She later earned her Doctorate in occupational therapy from University of Indianapolis. Her previous career experience includes a 12-week fieldwork experience in MSD of Pike Township, where she worked with elementary and high school students with a variety of diagnoses including; Autism, Down’s Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, sensory processing disorder, developmental delay and several others. She also had the opportunity to work in a developmental preschool, in which she spent two days per week providing OT services to 3 to 5 year-old children. This experience solidified her desire to help kids believe in themselves and realize their full potential. After graduating, she was looking for a place where she could continue to grow and call home for years to come. She discovered K1ds Count and immediately knew it was what she was looking for after meeting the incredible people and learning of the team-based philosophies. In her free-time, she enjoys being at the lake, playing with her dog, and spending time with friends and family.
CHELSEA MIGLIN, OTD, OTR, OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
Chelsea grew up in Warsaw, Indiana and currently resides in Indianapolis. She attended Purdue University where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Movement and Sport Sciences with a minor in psychology. She continued on to receive her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy at Indiana Wesleyan University where she continued to develop a love for working with children through her clinical experiences. During her graduate schooling, Chelsea completed numerous pediatric rotations, working with children with autism, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, developmental delay, traumatic brain injury, sensory processing difficulties, and other diagnoses. She has a strong passion for helping children reach their highest potential and is excited to be on such a collaborative team here at K1ds Count! In her spare time, Chelsea enjoys exploring Indianapolis with her husband, reading books, listening to podcasts, and spending time with friends and family.

Katherine grew up in Granger, Indiana and currently resides in Indianapolis. She attended Wittenberg University where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology prior to earning her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Kettering College of Medicine. Starting in early high school, she began volunteering with many different programs, all focused on working with children of all ages with disabilities, including Kan Do Kickers and Special Olympics, as well as in the foster care system and peer mentorship programs. She has always had a passion for the inclusion of all children and helping each child be able to do whatever it is that they want to achieve! The mission of K1ds Count strongly aligns with her personal values. She loves the culture and team environment here at K1ds Count! The emphasis placed on individualized, and family-specific, therapy, the motivation and desire for continued education, and the collaboration among multiple disciplines are just a few of the reasons she was drawn to join our team. Her career goal is to continue to learn, and grow, into an experienced therapist in order to help kids reach their full potential. JENNA PERKINS, OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
Originally from Bremen, Indiana, Jenna currently resides in Indianapolis. She attended the University of Indianapolis where she earned her Master’s in Occupational Therapy. Prior to joining K1ds Count, she worked as a RBT for about a year prior to completing my level II fieldwork. She enjoyed this experience and wanted to further her knowledge of ABA. Her love for the environment, and the professional relationships that I developed while at K1ds Count, made her certain she would enjoy coming to work everyday while employed with us. She hopes to participate in community events where she can advocate for the OT profession, as well as highlight what we can do for children to succeed. Eventually, she would also like to take on a leadership role. She enjoys reading, hiking, swimming, hanging with friends, and relaxing at home.
NEELY LANE, PT, NCS, PHYSICAL THERAPIST
Neely is a Tennessee native who moved to Indiana four years ago. Neely graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1993 with a BS in Kinesiology, and from East Tennessee State University in 1998 with a BS in Physical Therapy. She became an APTA certified Neurologic Clinical Specialist in 2006, and has headed outpatient Vestibular Rehabilitation programs for over ten years. Neely became interested in becoming a PT while volunteering in a rehabilitation hospital while in high school. She is a new member of the K1ds Count team and is excited to learn more about this amazing program. Her pediatric experience includes infants to teens, with diagnoses including congenital torticollis, gross motor developmental delay, Spina Bifida, Cerebral Palsy, traumatic brain injury, wound/burn care, complex seizure disorders, sports related injuries, and multi-trauma. Neely has been married 28 years, and has an 18 year old son and a 14 year old daughter.
RACHEL BUTTERFIELD, DPT, PHYSICAL THERAPIST
Rachel grew up in the south suburbs of Chicago and recently moved to Indiana from Florida. While in Florida Rachel received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of North Florida, and practiced physical therapy in a hospital based outpatient pediatric rehabilitation facility. She worked with infants just discharged from the NICU to children and teenagers. Her experience includes children with a variety of diagnoses, including ASD, CP, Trisomy 21, torticollis, genetic syndromes, and general developmental delays. Rachel chose to join the K1ds Count team because she enjoyed the family atmosphere when she toured the facility. After observing how everyone seemed to love their job, the company, and especially the kids, Rachel was hooked! She is happily married and has a wonderful 2 year old daughter. Most of her free time revolves around her family and making memories together. She enjoys hiking, horse back riding, and loves to draw, paint, and scrapbook.

IRIS LEATHERS, OFFICE MANAGER
Iris grew up in Chicago then moved to Bloomington, Indiana to attend Indiana University where she received her BS in Business. She currently resides in Bargersville, Indiana. Iris has extensive experience working with children. She spent three years as an ABA therapist, PM, BCaBA, seven more years as a lead teacher at Montessori Preschool, and nine years in leadership with children’s ministry. After working with many children, she found she was drawn to children who needed a voice, which brought her to K1ds Count. In her spare time, Iris loves being with her family, and enjoys baking and photography.
CAROLYN BEATTY, OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
Carolyn grew up in Northeastern Ohio. She then moved to Chicago, IL to attend DePaul University where she graduated with a BA in Sociology in 2010. It wasn’t until her last semester when she learned about autism and knew that it was the field she wanted to pursue a career in. Upon graduating, Carolyn moved to Indiana and immediately began working as an ABA therapist. She also has experience working in a developmental preschool with children of various developmental disabilities. Connecting with children and finding the most meaningful way of teaching them is Carolyn’s greatest passion. She is so excited to be a part of the K1ds Count team!
LATIFA COX, OUTPATIENT COORDINATOR
Latifa grew up in Germany until the age of 9 and then moved to Indianapolis. She went to IU to study psychology and worked in several research labs focusing on childhood development. She also has experience working with kids and adults in the mental health field for the last 5 years in both home therapy and clinic based settings where she gained experience learning about funding, assessments, prior authorizations, and service coordination. Latifa began at K1ds Count as an RBT, and recently transitioned to the office team to begin her role as the outpatient services coordinator.
MYSHIA SIMON, OFFICE & BILLING SPECIALIST
Myshia grew up on a farm in Montgomery County, Indiana. When growing up, she always knew she wanted help others by encouraging growth within their lifestyle. Myshia has helped coached gymnastics with her mom since she was 16. They have coached children ranging in age from 2 to 18. Myshia worked in customer service for a total of 6 years with the same company. She then completed an E.M.T course in 2010 and worked as an E.M.T for 2 years. In 2016, Myshia graduated from Brown Mackie College with an Associates of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy Assisting. She then went on to work in a nursing facility and realized she wanted to pursue a career in a pediatric environment. Myshia joined the Kids Count team in September of 2016. She is supported by her husband, Brian and all of her family members.
MCKENZIE BEACH, ACCOUNT SPECIALIST
McKenzie, born in California, moved to Bloomington, Indiana with her family when she was 12 years old. A 2014 graduate of Indiana University, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies. She’s always had a passion for working with children, serving as an assistant pre-school teacher and ice skating instructor while she attended IU. Her interest in working with children grew even more as she completed a semester-long internship at Children’s Therapy Center in Bloomington. Hoping to continue meaningful work with children, she found her place when she joined the Kids Count team in 2015. In her personal time, McKenzie loves spending time with her husband and daughter. She still likes to figure skate when her schedule permits.
TONI HUBBARD, ACCOUNT SPECIALIST
Born and raised in central Indiana, Toni grew up in Indianapolis, and currently resides in Greenwood. She attended Indiana University where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education. She previously worked with a non-profit organization in Georgia, for medically fragile children, called DreamHouse for Kids. She managed the education department, focusing on generating classroom and online education required for caretakers and parents in order to allow medically fragile children to remain in the home environment instead of institutionalized. She discovered K1ds Count after relocating back to Indianapolis after 15 years. Being semi-retired, her career goal is to provide service which will increase and improve the quality of life for all those impacted by K1ds Count. In her spare-time, she volunteers at her church, enjoys books about politics and religion, volunteers for events that honor our military veterans’ lives, and she spend as much time as possible with her granddaughter Emma.
HANNAH GODDARD, ACCOUNT SPECIALIST
Born and raised in Avon, Hannah attended IUPUI’s Kelley School of Business where she earned a Bachelors in Account and Finance. Previously, she worked at the bank where Frank and Tim would bring K1ds Count’s deposits. Through her years of working at the bank, she got to know more about K1ds Count and Frank got to know more about her. Recently, he proposed the idea of working at K1ds Count, and after her first tour Hannah was hooked! She plans to be a CMA (Certified Managerial Accountant). After obtaining her CMA certification, she would love to take on more of a managerial role related to the accounting and finance side of K1ds Count. She loves to do anything outdoors, such as mountain biking, running, and walking the dogs.
KALINA CHEW, CCS, CPC, ACCOUNT SPECIALIST
Kalina grew up in Crawfordsville, Indiana, but currently lives in Avon. She attended Ivy Tech to achieve her associates degree in business administration, and went on to receive continuing education in medical billing. She looks forward to continuing to grow in her career. She is dedicated, hardworking, and continually grows in her work. Personally, she loves to spend time with her dog, husband, and son.
ANNE CHAVICH, ACCOUNT SPECIALIST
Anne grew up in both Singapore and England and currently resides in Indianapolis. She studied Aviation while at the Convent of the Holy Infant Jesus in Singapore. Her ultimate career goal is to learn more about autism through her role at K1ds Count. In her spare time she enjoys shopping, reading, and going down to the lake to relax. She also loves meeting, and getting to know, new people.

Brittni grew up in Washington, Pennsylvania, and currently resides in Avon. She attended IUPUI where she earned her degree in Business. Until the past few years, she hadn’t had any experience with children with autism. However, became interested when a family member was diagnosed on the Spectrum. That, combined with the small family atmosphere, is what led her to K1ds Count after spending her entire career in corporate America. Someday she would like to own her own business, and she enjoys being with friends and family, going to NFL games, and golfing in her spare time.
JULIE MCCAMMON, BILLING & ACCOUNT LEAD
Julie grew up in Vincennes. She completed a Vincennes University and Indiana State University to complete her degree in elementary education. After her teaching career, she was looking for a change of pace and found K1ds Count. She is enjoying being a part of our office team. Julie likes hanging out with her daughters, reading, and crafts.
BETHANY ESTEP, OFFICE SPECIALIST
Bethany grew up in Washington, Pennsylvania and currently resides in Brownsburg. She attended Purdue University where she studied Psychology. Her young son has an Autism Diagnosis of ASD which is what made her consider working the field of ABA. Her hobbies include spending time with family, friends, never taking life too serious, cooking, shopping and going on vacations.

A central Indiana native, Kayleigh, grew up in Brownsburg and currently resides in Danville. She currently attends IUPUI, studying psychology, and plans to complete her Bachelor’s degree this year. She has been around young children for as long as she can remember, and was introduced to a young boy with ASD about 5 years ago and fell in love. K1ds Count was the perfect opportunity for her to combine her professional office skills with her passion for kids with Autism. Her career goal is to continue learning and developing into a leader that can better serve the kids, families and staff members here at K1ds Count. In her free-time she loves to be outside and partake in anything competitive. She, and her husband, love trying new restaurants and consider themselves “foodies”.
WENDY HAMMON, OFFICE SPECIALIST
Wendy grew up in Hobart, Indiana and currently resides in Jamestown. She attended Purdue University where she earned her Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education. Previously, she had worked part-time as a developmental therapist with the First Steps program and had done direct therapy with a few clients with autism. She also spent time as a teacher with the Headstart program, where she had a child with autism in her classroom. One of her career goals is to continue learning more about ABA in order to help her clients succeed. She enjoys camping and spending time with family and friends in her spare time.
REBEKAH FIELDS, OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR – CRAWFORDSVILLE
Rebekah grew up in Crawfordsville and currently resides in Linden, Indiana. She attended Liberty University where she studied Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education. Previously, she worked as a nanny, full-time, for a child with autism. This experience helped her realize how much she loved working with kids on the spectrum. Her career goal is to work in an environment where she can see children, with special needs, succeed to their fullest potential. When she is not busy being a mom to her 3 and 2 year old daughters, or a wife, she is homeschooling her oldest, reading, riding bikes, and listening to podcasts.

Jason grew up in Brownsburg, Indiana. He studied liberal arts at IUPUI. Jason has been around the field of special education and developmental disabilities for many years through his involvement with Damar Services. Jason’s wife is the Director of educational Services at Damar. Jason is excited to be a part of a small business that provides quality services to children
TIM GATES, CONTROLLER
Tim is the controller of K1ds Count, LLC. He attended Manchester College and received his Bachelor’s degree in Financial Accounting and a Master of Accountancy. Tim has spent the last 15 years working in both the private sector as well as public accounting. He holds a CPA license in the state of Indiana. He has enjoyed getting to know Frank and Lindsay over the years and understands their passion for helping children, which has helped K1ds Count continue to grow. Tim is excited to be part of a great team and bring his diverse accounting background to K1ds Count to develop financial, budgeting, and long-term growth strategies for the organization.
KELSEY KEEFER, OTD, OTR, OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST AND SCHOOL SERVICES COORDINATOR
Kelsey is an Indiana native who grew up just north of Indianapolis in Fishers. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Indiana University, continued on to receive her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy from University of Indianapolis, and currently resides in Indianapolis. During her time in grad school, she worked a home-based program with a teenager with autism, targeting functional daily living skills, as well as the integration of sensory-based activities to promote regulation for increased success in his daily life. This experience helped her discover her passion for children, and helping people live their best lives, which is why she decided to become a pediatric occupational therapist. She joined K1ds Count’s because of the clear dedication to its clientele, community, and employees. Kelsey’s goal is to become an experienced occupational therapist who serves as a role model to young therapists, molding the future of occupational therapy through her own experience and skills. She loves reading, playing with her dog, and spending time with friends and family.
BRIGITTE JAUCH, ED.S. SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST
After growing up in Rogers, Arkansas, Brigitte attended Indiana University where she earned a degree in School Psychology. She then worked for Indianapolis Public Schools, as a school psychologist for six years, serving the student population through consultation with staff and parents, as well as providing individual and small group intervention and educational evaluations. One of her career goals is to become more involved with the local and national school psychology associations. She has always enjoyed cooking, mostly because she loves to eat! She also enjoys finding new trails to explore and going to the movies.
OMEGA ROBINSON, SCHOOL SOCIAL WORKER/COUNSELOR
Born and raised in Indianapolis, where she currently resides, Omega attended University of Indianapolis where she earned her Master’s in Social Work. She previously worked with students as a one on one paraprofessional in the school setting for the MSD of Wayne Township. Her ultimate career goal would be to open up her own private practice to provide therapy for families. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, and loves shopping and eating at good restaurants. She is very outgoing person, who loves to laugh and have a good time. She enjoys making others smile and finding ways to help make other people live’s better.
LISA DIAL, ED.S. SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST
Lisa was born in New Zealand, and at age 12 moved with her family to Goshen, Indiana. Lisa did her undergraduate studies at Purdue University, and graduate studies at Indiana State University. After graduating with a degree in school psychology, Lisa worked in Lafayette, Indiana for 6 years as a full-time school psychologist, until her family relocated to Indianapolis. Lisa and her husband Drew became foster parents in August of 2017. They currently have two biological sons ages 6 and 8, as well as two foster sons ages 6 and 3. They stay busy with the boys’ sports and activities!
DR. SARAH THOMAS, PSYCHOLOGIST & DIRECTOR OF MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES
Dr. Sarah grew up in rural Indiana prior to moving to the Indianapolis area where she currently resides. She attended Indiana State University, as well as Louisiana State University’s School of Medicine where she earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. She began graduate school in 2010, with intent to work with children and families in mental health, including youth with neurodevelopmental disabilities such as autism. At Indiana State University, she worked extensively with youth suspected of having Attention Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and related disorders. Working in New Orleans for 5 years, prior to joining our team, she gained specialized education and training in Infant Mental Health, parent-child attachment, and those who have experienced child abuse/neglect or trauma. Young children, and persons with disabilities, are particularly vulnerable to potential maltreatment, exploitation, or traumatic stressors, and she enjoys assisting children and families to enhance their strengths, grow closer in relationships, and learn new skills. Though she is not specifically trained in ABA, her doctoral training in clinical psychology relies on principles of human behavior and cognition. She frequently uses behavioral interventions when providing mental health treatment to children and teaching effective parent behavioral skills to caregivers. She is an early career psychologist and loves the field of pediatric health care. After transitioning back to Indiana, her career goals are to contribute to, and expand mental health services for, children and their caregivers in the Hoosier state. She plans to expand on her passion for strengthening parent-child attachment, preventing child maltreatment, and helping caregivers understand and respond to child behaviors. Using the most current research and best practices, she strives to recognize warning signs and prevent suicide. Broadly speaking, she hopes to have a small impact to lessen human suffering and conversely promote healing and healthy relationships. Besides working directly with families, she enjoys training other professionals and teaching the community about trauma-informed health care and schools. Lastly, in her career she would like to contribute to psychology students’ education and training to further social and behavioral sciences. She loves nature and animals. Her family traditions include hiking in her backyard as well as Indiana’s beautiful state parks. Being back in Indiana, she spends much time with family, especially her niece (age 2) and nephew (age 4). She enjoys creative practices and the satisfaction of completing artistic projects. She strives to practice what she teaches by regularly engaging in self-care. She is an enthusiastic singer in the privacy of her kitchen and shower, and believes that coffee is one of her most important food groups.
