Our therapists provide interventions to children who have, or are at risk of having, developmental delays and are experiencing difficulties functioning in one or more areas of their lives. Dressing, brushing hair/teeth, tying shoes, bathing
Using utensils, transitioning to sippy/straw/open cups, increasing food repertoire, desensitization to textures/temperatures/presentation of foods
Coloring, cutting, writing
Visual Perceptual Skills:
Self-calming, decreasing fidgeting, toe walking, desensitization to textures of clothing, desensitization to noises/smells/touch, etc.
Interacting with peers appropriately
Decision-making, memory, sequencing, money management, abstract reasoning, problem-solving
Improving range of motion, assessing for orthotics/splints, kinesiotaping, balance, bilateral coordination, throwing, catching, kicking, riding bikes
Manipulating small items (pinching, opening containers), hand strengthening, holding writing tools, opening/closing scissors
Printing letters with appropriate sizing and formation, legibility of writing
